It was a practical companion for shepherds, farmers and woodcutters who spent long hours in nature. They\u2019d tie up their meal in a square cloth, sling it over their shoulder, and head off to work or walk. When it was time to eat, the cula would be untied and spread out on the ground \u2013 turning into a makeshift table.
