Before backpacks and picnic baskets, there was the cula – a simple, cloth bundle used to carry food. It was a practical companion for shepherds, farmers and woodcutters who spent long hours in nature. They’d tie up their meal in a square cloth, sling it over their shoulder, and head off to work or walk. When it was time to eat, the cula would be untied and spread out on the ground – turning into a makeshift table. Simple, humble, and incredibly practical, the cula was part of everyday life in the countryside. In this experience, we bring it back – filled with local flavors and meant to be enjoyed the way it once was: in nature, at your own pace, with a view.
